Nikita Haynie is the creator of Write On, Black Girl, a movement dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black women writers. A tenacious Georgia peach, she currently thrives among the sunflowers in Lawrence, KS. She is a writer, Black creative, dreamer, and educator. As a Black woman writer and speaker, she understands the power of amplifying her voice.

Writing for Black women has always been an act of resistance. In a literary world that often overlooks Black women writers and their contributions, Nikita has made it her mission to raise awareness of Black women's voices across genres and communities. While the world often seeks to silence Black women, Nikita believes in the amplification and power of their voices, stories, and experiences.
